So, this guy sent a /tell to the whole server. The website in the /tell is is full of Keylogger Viruses. If you went to it I highly suggest scanning your system and doing anything you can think of to keep your system safe.

This applies to Caitsith Server only as far as I know.

I was in dynamis, it looked like he started with the A's and B's, then worked his way down everybody in the shell.

Wasn't just us either. He sent /tells to people who were in Limbus, which I don't think you can /sea if you aren't in the zone.

My friend Alcedies sent me a /tell right after his DYnamis LS got the /tell, I told the social LS we're in and some of my friends. I think Surreal is posting abotu it on KI.

Yeah I was in the same dynamis w/ Alcedies (Killer Instinct).

Also talked to a friend in TU, they all got the tell too, but were in Apollyon at the time.

Wow i have'nt heard of this before but il keep an eye out on sylph, i'm sure no one will go to a site a completly new person tells you to go to though.
This is just another one of those wave attaks from RMT since SE recently got hard on them its thier only way to make money.

So something was bugging me about this...

They use tripod free hosting, which gives you a URL of membername.tripod.com. So if I picked my username here it would be something like

atalantia.tripod.com

They are using a membername of downloads5, to get

downloads5.tripod.com (this is not the real one, just an example) which almost looks legitimate.

Anyone know what would happen I sent a reply tell like "China lied about Tienamen Square" and "Free Tibet Now" and "Taiwan deserves independence"? Would that get detected by the great china firewall and have the chinese police come and handle the problem for us?

I remember gettin the tell while doing Assault and tellin my ls about it and one by one they got the same tell. Weird thing tho is that I was doing it with Kahiri and Amonk and they got the tell at about the same time as me Amonk checked it out on a seperate laptop with nothing FFXI related on the HD and told us all not to bother so we didnt. I dont trust ppl with names that begin with P anyways... or E. Shady lot those ppl with names beginning with E! BUT THE P's ARE WORSE!
